The Bundaberg & District Neighbourhood Centre is located in the Historical Kenalwyn House at 111 Targo Street, Bundaberg

We are funded by Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services to provide services and support to the community of Bundaberg.

The Centre is a well established community organisation incorporated in 1992 and is an information referral service with strong interagency connections within the community and offers a variety of community support programs.

We also have an extensive range of community support services information available.

Centre Programs

Bundaberg Migrant Settlement Services Program

Bundaberg Migrant Settlement Services (formerly Settlement Grants Program) operates from the Bundaberg and District Neighbourhood Centre offering a referral and advocacy service to eligible new migrants within the Bundaberg area, Gin Gin and Childers.

Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) Program

CAMS - Community Action for a Multicultural Society program undertakes group advocacy and community connectedness activities.  It fosters social inclusion and capacity building for the benefit of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and supports their integration into the wider community.

Speech and Occupational Therapy Program

The Speech and Occupational Therapy Program aims to widen the educational options and increase participation in educational settings of primary and secondary school-aged children with moderate to severe disabilities. Eligible students are those attending Catholic and Independent schools in Bundaberg. The program provides Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy to the children, and support to their parents and teachers.
